Absolute Security today announced that during Consumer Electronics Show 2025 (CES 2025), it is offering co nsumers, students, and small business owners who purchase AI PCs a 50 percent discount on new one-year subscriptions to Absolute Home & Office, the industry’s leading security solution that protects PCs and data against device theft, loss, and the growing cybercrime wave. Already built into HP PCs, the global leader in enterprise and consumer devices has teamed with Absolute to offer HP customers who purchase Next-Gen AI PCs the same 50% discount on a year of Home & Office.

“In our highly-mobile world, consumers and employees need to remain connected at home, in the office, and while traveling. To ensure they have an excellent and secure user experience, we collaborate with providers across the industry to deliver advanced features and capabilities,” said Samuel Chang, Senior Vice President, Consumer Personal Systems at HP Inc. “With Absolute, HP is giving customers peace of mind that their investment, privacy, and personal information will be safe and secure at all times.”

Absolute’s technology is embedded in the firmware of more than 600 million endpoint devices, which includes PCs built by HP and other leading manufacturers. This patented innovation enables Home & Office to geolocate and lock any covered device anywhere in the world, the moment the machine is turned on and connected to the Internet. Because Absolute is pre-installed in the device hardware, it works even if the OS becomes corrupted, cannot be turned off, tampered with, or deleted. Used by consumers and enterprises alike, Absolute has helped locate and return almost 60,000 devices, recovered more than $43 million in lost and stolen merchandise, found lost devices in 122 countries, and helped law enforcement bring more than 5,000 criminals to justice.

“The FBI’s IC3 cybercrime complaint center’s latest report revealed that more than $12 billion was lost to computer related crimes in 2023, not counting unreported losses and crimes. The only way consumers and businesses can remain protected in an increasingly hostile world is to leverage solutions that can help them remain in full control of their devices and data, no matter where they may travel,” said Cheryln Chin, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Absolute Security. “To help our customers and partners stay ahead of threats and cybercriminals, we are excited to offer access to a proven solution that will provide customers with the most effective protection available.”

Starting January 7 through January 31, 2025, consumers, students, and small businesses with up to 50 PCs can take advantage of the CES 2025 “half-off” offer. All purchases of Absolute products or services are subject to applicable terms and conditions, including the terms of Absolute’s Master Subscription Agreement.
