In 2024, CharmHealth led several important initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery, including:

• CodeRx Hackathon: Kicking off the year, CharmHealth held its CodeRx Hackathon, during which 1,393 teams competed to create solutions that could revolutionize, reimagine and reshape healthcare. Participants were given specific challenges according to four key themes, and winners showcased exceptional ingenuity in solving some of healthcare’s greatest challenges.
• 2024 Innovation Challenge: The company also conducted its fourth annual Innovation Challenge at its Charmalot user conference. Through this elite competition, CharmHealth provided a platform for innovators, entrepreneurs, students, nonprofits and philanthropists to share groundbreaking ideas with investors, incubators and partners who can bring them to market. Unlike other startup competitions, CharmHealth’s Innovation Challenge is specific to digital health and the electronic health record (EHR) domain. Participants received mentorship and funding opportunities as well as access to CharmHealth’s extensive ecosystem of support.
• Internship Program: Launching the CharmHealth Internship Program, the company trained and mentored future healthtech leaders from a variety of disciplines, empowering the next generation to drive industry change.

Expanding Industry Impact

CharmHealth deepened its influence through numerous strategic investments, partnerships and educational initiatives. For example:

• Support for UBERDOC: Aimed at expanding direct-to-consumer healthcare access, UBERDOC’s value proposition fit squarely into CharmHealth’s investment thesis. As such, CharmHealth provided funding to accelerate UBERDOC’s growth, enabling the company to add more doctors and geographies to its network in order to make it faster and easier for patients to connect with the best providers for their needs.
• Partnership With VitaminLab: CharmHealth has an extensive history of partnering with organizations that can elevate the standard of care for patients. In 2024, CharmHealth announced a highly impactful collaboration with VitaminLab to streamline practitioner workflows so that they can see all of a patient’s medication and supplement data in one health chart when designing a personalized nutrition plan. Additionally, the partnership ensured that practitioners don’t have to maintain or manage supplement inventory themselves.
• Charmalot User Conference: Held in Washington, D.C., CharmHealth’s flagship event brought together healthcare providers, practice administrators, tech developers, partners, entrepreneurs, and investors for informative spotlight sessions, panel discussions, and in-depth group sessions. This year’s conference featured two exceptionally timely keynote sessions: Dr. Robert Pearl spoke on how AI can empower patients and doctors to take back control of American medicine, while Dr. Robert Gabbay discussed the future of diabetes management.
• Digital Health Disruptors Podcast and Webinars: CharmHealth launched Season 2 of its highly acclaimed Digital Health Disruptors podcast, which explores healthcare innovation, as well as a robust webinar series to engage and educate its user community.

Growth at Home

CharmHealth’s work advancing the industry translated to significant gains for the company. In fact, CharmHealth experienced record growth. It secured and expanded key customer relationships, including Open Mind Health and HealthyMD.
