Digital banking provider Tyfone today announced it was named the Luminary of the year in the 3rd Annual Credit Union Times Luminaries Awards for Third-Party Product Innovation – Mobile Banking for its nFinia® Platform. The Luminary Awards highlight the individuals, teams, projects and organizations that are changing the financial services industry where it matters most. Tyfone was a Luminaries nominee in the categories of Third-Party Executive Leadership – Technology Vendors & Service Providers, Third-Party Product Innovation – Credit/Debit Payment Solutions, and Third-Party – Rising Star Individuals.
On Thursday, Nov. 7 in Orlando, Fla., the editors of Credit Union Times announced the winners of the 2024 CU Times Luminaries Awards during a gala held at The Disney World Yacht Club & Resort. Five judges from the credit union industry reviewed more than 200 entries in 24 categories. Those included: Henry Meier, Esq. – Attorney at the Law Office of Henry C. Meier, Esq.; Juli Lewis – Vice President of Community Engagement at USF FCU; Jean Theis – Vice President Branches in Illinois at MSUFCU; Derek Rudolph – Chief Technology Officer at Great River FCU; and Mishel Kaufman – Chief Operating & Risk Officer at Redwood Credit Union.
